Bottle from Leura Cellars. Hazy gold with lasting frothy white head that sticks to the glass. Aromas of pineapple, peaches and spicy hops with only a slightly discernible whiff of malt. Pine needles turn into peach and reasonably bitter grapefruit pith, but the light malt bill leaves a slightly hollow flavour profile. Fine to drink in multiples perhaps, but I’ll stick to better examples such as Bridge Road and 4 Pines for my go to local APA’s.
