From Willie himself, “Willie the Boatman takes its name from a Scottish Convict whose job it was to row people across the Cooks River in Tempe before a bridge was built in the late 1800’s.”
Like most pales it’s an easy drinker and perfect for a hot day! It pours a nice goldy colour with a good head. Good hit of malt with some nice citra hops, the malt profile is quite strong but not to the point of strangling it. Like others from the brewer it is what it states, doesn’t challenge the palate but then sometimes that’s not a bad thing. Well done Willie I like it!
