Can from The Robin Hood Hotel. Lager is dead. BrewDog rock. I’m looking forward to this.

Pours a hazy gold with a minimal white head. Bread malt dominates the aroma, combining with light, refreshing lemon blossom back notes and a distinct lack of metallic elements like so familiar to macro lagers. Quite a rich, robust palate of caramel and bready malts, cleaned up by spicy hops and moderately bitter finish. A very good lager.

Note to brewers – it’s not all about ales. Sometimes a quality bottom fermented little number just seems to hit the spot.
