Our friends across the ditch have come out with a cracking “Indochine” pale ale combining mango, Vietnamese mint, lime, chilli using centennial, amarillo and citra hops. You definitely get the citrus mango flavours mixed with a hint of lime, Vietnamese mint and chilli. This is one very complex beer and not for the faint at heart. It challenges the palate with some really robust flavours. I really enjoyed it and love the fact that the guys are really pushing some traditional boundaries with this one. As they say if you haven’t tried a mango chill salad you probably should, this is definitely a mango chilli salad in a can and should be on everyone’s beer bucket list!
