This is my ‘go to’ local beer, handcrafted in Manly and a leading, long-term player in the Sydney craft beer scene. The beer I buy a case of and have tucked in the fridge to knock back at the end of the day. Great value at about $70 and one of the best pale ales in the land.

Bottle. Orange hued, with a white frothy head that laces well. Big citrus and floral nose, with balancing bread malts. Pineapple, grass and a hint of flowers on the palate. Moderate grapefruit bitterness and a solid bread and biscuity malt background, providing fantastic balance. The bitterness weaves itself throughout the palate, finishing in a refreshing moderate bitterness. Pour me another!
