Considering how much I love hoppy New England IPAs I’ve been trying to challenge myself with some saisons. This one from the American Artisan series is epic!

Poured a nice golden yellow. Strong smell of citrus and flowers. Has that unique slight white wine feel at the back of the throat which is typical of the yeast used in Saisons. Well restrained and very clever use of hops makes it very well balanced.

You could see some Belgian farmers happily knocking back a lot of these after a day in the fields on a warm summers day. I like it a lot. Would be fantastic beside the pool on a hot summers day in Sydney. Highly sessionable!
