In the recent Beer Cartel survey of Australian craft beer drinkers, Pirate Life was voted Australia’s Best Craft Brewer. It’s good to know my vote counted!!! This little beauty was made to celebrate Pirate Life’s second birthday and the mighty Mosaic hop. It’s a great beer and fitting of the celebration. Congratulations Pirate Life.

Can. Pours a murky gold, with small white head. FRUIT BOMB – pineapple, passionfruit, grapefruit, a touch of pine and some biscuity backing. Mosaic may be an aroma hop, but the flavour isn’t forsaken. Instead of being the fruity bomb presented in the aroma, the flavours aren’t so fruity, instead packed full earth, spicy pine and a touch of grapefruit. It’s very bitter (I’d love to know how many IBU’s) and perfect levels of caramel malts to showcase this delicious hop.
