A bit of a curious one ‘Sydney Brewery’. Their beer is brewed in the Hunter Valley, two hours north of Sydney in the famous wine region, whilst each of the brews carries the name of an inner Sydney suburb. Pyrmont is home to a big ugly casino, a smelly fish market in urgent need of rebuilding and some beautiful reclaimed working class buildings and docks on the best harbour in the world. The beer named in its honour? A delicious, sessionable IPA , perfect for taking to a BBQ.
Bottle. Pours a deep clear amber, with an off white head and solid lacing. Muted but attractive aromas of grapefruit, pine, rye and orange pith. The flavour profile steps up, showing good bitterness, flavours of grapefruit, dry and spicy rye, along with good balancing biscuit malt.
