We’re big gose fans at BrewsBuzz and the Sierra Nevada Otra Vez is no different. I tried this beer several years ago when I hadn’t had any other gose’s to compare. I enjoyed it then and enjoyed it just as much this time around, coming from a stronger knowledge base.

‘Another time’ in Spanish, Sierra Nevada used local Californian desert prickly pear cactus and grapefruit grown in the agricultural Central Valley. Put it all together and you have a perfect beer for a 35 degree summer Sydney afternoon.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, light straw colour with minimal white head that dissipates quickly. Grapefruit, lime and peach aromas, underpinned by a lactic sourness. Balanced and understated flavours of agave, stone fruit, citrus juice, savoury elements and moderate sourness. So refreshing.
