I reviewed this great little brewery in the back blocks of Marrickville last week and mentioned I picked up a squeeler of their juicy Bubble and Squeak NEIPA. I’m not one for fashion and don’t default to saying the NEIPA was the best beer because that’s what the world wants to drink at the moment. But …… this was their best beer. I can see why everyone was drinking it on the day and it’s being recommended wherever it’s sold. Perfectly crafted, allowing the enormous amount of late addition hops providing not only great aroma, but good flavour. Definitely one of the best Australian examples of the style I’ve had.

Invitingly hazy, light honey colour, small head and medium lacing. Huge tropical aroma, full of mango, passionfruit, guava, pineapple, melons, a touch of peach and apricot and citrus hops. Immediate, moderate pine bitterness, which moves into juicy tropical fruit and a long dry finish with additional moderately bitter, resinous flavour and a luscious mouthfeel.
