The Six Strings Pale Ale from the brewers on the Central Coast is actually very hard to source in Sydney so I was excited to find it on a recent outing to Copacobana. On the label it says it’s a mix of Australian and American pales…

I’m not convinced. Pours a nice pale gold with some good lacing. Slight hints of passionfruit and citrus however it’s destroyed by the malt. Nice bitter finish it’s ok in it’s own right but after their NEIPA and Tropical Pale Ale I had high hopes which, in my humble opinion, didn’t eventuate with this one. Too malty without the promise of the rest.
