Six String ‘Coastie’ (Pale Lager) – Central Coast, NSW
Inspired by a recent visit to Wings x Tins (hot wings and craft beer cans – is there any better way to spend a night?) I made my own hot wings on the weekend. And hot wings require lager. I’ve had quite a few lagers recently, which seem to have become a recent trend with brewers. The Six String Coastie is the best of them.
Can. Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light biscuit malt, built around floral hops. Clean, juicy flavours of floral citrus hops, with low bitterness and good balanced malt sweetness. It’s clean and simple but well made.
