So, first beer after dry July, my god what a stupid concept, I like the charity aspect etc but next time I’ll just donate the money…. nothing better than a beer at the end of the week after a hard slog at work.
Anyways Tennent’s Peak double IPA comes in at an unflinching 8.3%. Well balanced malt backbone with a strong resinous hop up front. Velvet smooth mouthfeel with a not too boozy finish. Not sure why but it’s got a slight native wattle nose which is very pleasant. Great DIPA, would definitely buy it again. Sourced from prohibition cellars in Canberra on a recent work trip.
