@philterbrewing has become a favourite over its short history. The Red in particular regularly filling my fridge during the cooler months and the Caribbean Stout wowing me each time it’s been made. Haze is their latest limited release, in a striking green, red and yellow can. I’ve had some really good NEIPA’s lately. This is one of them. It may not hit the very lofty heights of a few I’ve had, but they are far more expensive and if a case of Philter Haze was sitting in my fridge, I’d be a very happy man. I’ve heard they’re opening up in #marrickville soon, which is going to add another gem to an impressive line up a short train ride from my house!! Can. Pours a hazy orange, honey colour with a small white head. Delicious aromas of banana, rockmelon, peaches, mango, passionfruit, lychee, grapefruit and a touch of caramel. Juicy fruits abound, with mango, passionfruit, rockmelon and passionfruit, along with mandarin and orange, a medium level of bitterness provided by grapefruit and pine, and some balancing caramel. Improves as it warms slightly in the glass.
